What is a Safelist and Why are they Important?
Safelists were one of the first ways to advertise, promote or inform on the internet. They have gone through many changes over the years but still rank at the top of the heap in advertising methods.
Safelists are opt-in mailing lists. That means when you join, you agree to receive email from other members in return for the right to email them. Many lists today require that you click a validation link as proof that you joined. Overall, safelists are the perfect "spam free" form of email marketing.
DO exercise caution when joining safelists and READ all Rules and Disclaimers. I do NOT add your contact or list email address to ANY other programs on my servers. You opt-in ONLY to the safelists you join.
There are several different types of Safelists and thousands of Safelists to join. I have 2 Safelist domains that are among the BEST type of lists. Please feel free to join all lists. Check back now and again to see if I have a SPECIAL on Pro or Platinum upgrades! They mean more frequent mailing ability for you. The more lists you are a member of and the more often you can send... the more your ads will be seen. Repitition is the key to advertising with safelists.
The other thing to consider is the possibility of owning your own safelist. The main reason to own is the fact that as a safelist admin you have the right to email your member database up to 6 times daily to promote your own products or services. As an admin in my lists you can also place your own banners, use top ads, main page ads, and more.
I will caution you to understand that owning a safelist is not any guarantee that you will earn cash from upgrades, or banner, ect. sales to members. Purchase it to build your own database of members and you will have a great mailing list!
